In accordance with the decision of His Grace Bishop Longin, and mindful of the measures enacted by the State of Illinois to prevent the spread of Coronavirus Covid-19, the Divine Liturgy at Holy Resurrection Serbian Orthodox Cathedral will be served tomorrow, Marc 29, by the Cathedral Clergy and cantors only.  The Liturgy will begin at 9:30am.

We invite our parishioners to follow the Divine Liturgy, which will be livestreamed on our Facebook page and at our website at , and to pray with us as we offer the Holy Oblation “on behalf of all and for all.”—meaning all of you who are unable to attend during this sheltering-in-place period.

May our gracious Lord Jesus Christ, through the prayers of His All-Holy Mother and the entreaties of the Saints, show mercy to the World and save us from this pandemic, and may He grant us to once again worship together so that we may joyously sing together the words of the Liturgy:

“Let our mouths be filled with Your praise, O Lord, that we may sing of Your glory, because You have made us worthy to partake of Your Holy Mysteries. Keep us in Your sanctification, that all day long we may meditate upon Your righteousness. Alleluia. Alleluia. Alleluia.”
